Who is the program intended for?

The program is intended for all young athletes, musicians, students, ... in short, everyone who wants to take their training and performance to a higher level. The purpose of the program is to build mental strength, with the help of which you will much more easily achieve top results and face all the challenges that await you in life. The age limit is 13-25 years, the program is specially adapted for people in this age group who are motivated for personal and professional development.

I realized very early in my 20 year career that the power of the mind is much greater than I could have ever imagined. I decided on a sport that was very garage and motorically demanding, as I swam at least 15 kilometers a day. I fought with my thoughts almost every training session and filled my swimming goggles with tears several times. Until I learned psychological techniques that helped me overcome brutal efforts and keep a "clear head" in crucial moments. That's when I realized that most of all I want to bring these psychological techniques to all people and help them on their way to success. That's why I dedicated my life to neuroscience and the psychology of successful performance.

Understanding psychological resilience through neuroscience

As part of the workshop, we will explore the functioning of our brain in depth and discover how awareness training triggers mental and physical stability, which is key to optimizing our daily functioning and preparing for a successful performance.

You will learn:

  • What it means to be psychologically resilient from a neuroscience perspective.
  • Why psychological resilience is important and how it can help us.
  • How our brain works in situations of stress, discomfort and unpredictable circumstances, and why in these moments we are so quickly taken over by the survival mechanism, which hinders the optimal functioning of our brain and body when it is most needed.
  • How mindfulness training activates our ability to self-manage in stressful situations.
  • Exercises and methods for training awareness.

The theoretical part is followed by a week of practical application of the acquired knowledge and exercises.

Awareness of breathing as the foundation of psychological resilience

We will learn how conscious breathing strengthens our psychological strength, grounds us in the present moment, helps train focus or the ability to maintain attention, enables cognitive calmness, and above all, regulates our nervous system to maintain both mental and physical health.

You will learn:

  • Why is conscious breathing the foundation of psychological resilience?
  • How does breathing regulate the nervous system?
  • How can we recharge and reset with breathing exercises?
  • What breathing exercises promote presence and the ability to maintain attention?
  • How can breathing increase productivity and efficiency?
  • How can conscious breathing help us regulate emotional states?

The theoretical part is followed by a week of practical application of the acquired knowledge and exercises.

Awareness of thoughts and emotions

The quality of our life largely depends on our emotional state, which is especially true for performers or people performing. They have to show their best skills at key moments. In the third week of our program we will therefore explore thought patterns, negative thoughts, excuses and excuses, worries and doubts and the use of unproductive words and destructive explanations, including limiting internal stories and dialogues and harmful self-talk. Special emphasis will be placed on building emotional intelligence, where we will delve deeper into what emotions are and how we manage them effectively.

You will learn:

  • What is the nature of our mind? Why is it so hard to be positive?
  • What are thoughts? How do they affect your motivation?
  • How can you develop a healthier relationship with your thoughts?
  • How do we look for solutions instead of excuses?
  • Why do we have to focus our thoughts on what we want to happen?
  • Why are "disaster words" so destructive?
  • How do we acquire a healthier self-image and thus more self-confidence?
  • What are the basics of emotional intelligence? How do we use emotions (sadness, anger, fear...etc) to our advantage?
  • How does gratitude benefit us?

Body awareness

The fourth workshop will be devoted to body awareness, with the aim of starting to listen to your body in more detail. We will explore what your body needs, what it tells you, how to recognize emotional states more quickly, how to maintain a confident posture and relaxed facial expressions, and above all, how to develop a healthier attitude towards yourself. Athletes will gain additional information on two topics: the psychology of pain, i.e. how to overcome daily 'training pain', and the use of imagination to optimize physical abilities and regenerate the body.

You will learn:

  • How your body affects your psychological mood.
  • What your facial expressions and body language tell you, and what your daily posture says.
  • How you can change your mental state with the help of your body.
  • How body training affects psychological resilience.
  • How we can manipulate pain during training and achieve better results.
  • How imagination affects more efficient body movement and muscle regeneration.
  • Why healthy self-esteem is so important.
  • How we take care of our body every day.


In the last workshop, we will delve deeper into the understanding of visualization through neuroscience. You will learn how visualization affects the functioning of the brain and, consequently, its efficiency. We will talk about what elements are necessary for the visualization to have an optimal effect. You will learn to create scenarios and performances in your head, which will prepare you for all future challenges and enable you to achieve top results.

You will learn:

  • What is visualization training? Why is it so important?
  • What happens in the brain when we visualize?
  • When, how and where do we visualize?
  • How can we help ourselves with negative visualization?
  • How do we persist when the situation is not the most pleasant or promising?

LIVE meeting (in Ljubljana)

After the successfully completed 5 weeks, we will hang out live for a few hours. We will celebrate the collective hard work and look forward to the positive changes and progress of all participants. We will repeat some of the most important lessons from the last 5 weeks and learn from each other in small groups. The purpose of the live meeting is to get to know each other and create an even greater sense of belonging to the group, whose help each member can count on in the future. At the meeting, group members will also receive a gift.

Sara Isakovic is an Olympic silver medalist, European champion and three-time champion of the American NCAA Championship.

She completed her studies at the University of California, Berkeley, where she received a master's degree in the psychology of optimal performance. She is a researcher with published scientific articles in the field of neuroscience, author of books, speaker at TEDx events and lecturer.
